The pain in my neck and shoulders had become a worsening chronic condition for over a year. It became irritated from riding my road bike, but really seemed to have originated with bad posture. Immediately after starting the exercises to bring my shoulders down and back and provide better foundation in lower spine and hips, the pain dramatically lessened. Today after a month of the exercises, there is no pain in my neck or shoulders.

 Throughout the years, I had sessions with Uddhava and have been practicing the Egoscue exercises to keep my body well and pain free.  This year, in mid February 2016, I went to see Uddhava, because I had sciatica pain in my right leg. Prior to coming to him, I tried massage, stretches and yoga to release the pain, but it didn't go away. After my session with Uddhava, he gave me a set of simple exercises to do daily. After one week of practice, the pain was gone. I am very grateful. Thank you very much for your help, Uddhava.

I started a goat dairy for the spiritual community I live in, and right away my dormant carpal tunnel symptoms flared up. Inspired by the work but in daily pain, I wondered how I would be able to hold it all together. In the mornings my hands were painfully numb brushing my hair and flossing my teeth. I would wake up in the middle of the night with throbbing numb hands and not know what to do to alleviate it. I did go to the chiropractor, but although the visit felt good it didn't stop what was happening.

Uddhava's Egoscue routine that he personally designed for me helped to turn it all around. It was hard to believe that these exercises would work, but I started getting results right away, and there was more improvement as time went on. Pain is a funny thing- when it goes away you almost forget that you had it. 

No longer do my hands go through episodes of throbbing numbness, despite that I am doing even more work than ever. In fact, it also cleared up a tight right hamstring and chronic neck and shoulder tightness. I have so much more energy to devote to the important things in life.

Uddhava is especially gifted with Egoscue. He is extremely intuitive as well as competent. You will get your life back again and feel the joy and bounce back in your step. I am writing this testimony with gratefulness in my heart- thank you Uddhava Ramsden!

I had a Therapy appointment to get relief from chronic pain in my lower back and hips. The pain was accompanied with weakness and an inability to move my body, exercise and be comfortable with daily activities. The Therapy eliminated the pain.

I am still at the phase where I have to do my exercises regularly in order to stay pain free and functional.

I recommend Uddhava's Posture Alignment therapy not only to alleviate pain, but to prevent it by correcting postural imbalances.

I am very happy to recommend Posture Alignment Therapy and David Ramsden to anyone and everyone!  I first visited David in order to get relief from a chronically stiff neck.  I was amazed that after just one week of consistent use of the prescribed exercises I have an increase in range of motion - without pain. 

Now, after eight weeks I am close to being where I was two years ago.  And, I am amazed at how strong my body is becoming.  Throughout each day my body reminds itself to stand straight - I actually have the muscle mass to support it.  I am unable to dedicate a lot of time to any exercise.  That's another benefit.  My routine takes just 1/2 hour each day.  It's perfect!

I'm very grateful that David Ramsden has become certified as Egoscue Posture Specialist. He has helped me quite a bit. Once I caught him quickly at our retreat and he gave me two simple movements that eliminated the sharp pains in my neck that had been there for three days. Two other times I had full sessions with him -once as an overall tone up and another for headaches after overseas travel. I found him to be extremely professional, intuitive, kind and helpful. I have already recommended others to see him and I will continue to do so.

My primary reason for learning Egoscue was to improve my posture. As a child, my mother always told me to stand up straight. But my body just couldn’t. After a few months of Egoscue, I visited my mother and she commented on how straight my posture was. The exercises have changed the way my body holds itself, I don’t have to think about it.

I have also experienced a tremendous relief of stress from my body by doing the exercises. That was an added blessing.

I went to see David with little understanding about Egoscue and posture alignment- not only that, but without recognizing my own posture's misalignment. All I knew was I was having upper back pain. After one session with David, I quickly realized the cause of my back pain and the ingenuity of Egoscue. My shoulders tended to sag forward putting extra strain on compensatory muscles that were working all the time because of this misalignment. Not only did we find misalignment in my shoulders and back, but we discovered I had a tendency to angle my foot outward. There were several other minor misalignments that I actually thought were quite normal. David gave me a simple, 15 minute exercise routine to begin the realignment or healing process. Within two weeks of practicing these exercises I noticed substantially less pain in my upper back. Now my feet typically point straight ahead and I walk upright and much more comfortably.
